Founder/CEO
Shervonne Coney is the CEO of Black Women and Infertility, which she founded in 2015. Shervonne created this resource during the years that she and her husband have been trying to become parents. “Black Women and Infertility” is a community tailored to women of color that provides support, encouragement and understanding through social media, particularly Facebook. Through these efforts, Shervonne has helped hundreds of women, who describe her as “a ray of light in the storm”. And in doing so, she has gained comfort and healing for herself as well. A lifelong resident of Boston, Shervonne is committed to increasing awareness, access to care, and emotional support related to infertility, particularly for people of color.
